I'm curious about the age range of all the bongoceros/aficionados in the forum.

I am currently 27, but have loved the music my own whole life. I just got serious about drums in the last three years. Strictly a hobby player, who is still taking lessons.

From what I see, unfortunately, I see less and less young guys into the music/culture/instruments.

C'mon, no need to be shy, viejos. :D

Hi all

37 years young here. Been playing for around 16 years (started with djembe and now congas for about 10 years).
I play in a latin ban "los pescados unidos". We practice once a week and have gigs about 2 to 3 times a month average.
