Hey all,

"Nengue", the conga player for Maraca will be in the bay area from 12/18 to 12/23.

He is looking to pick up gigs, or private lessons while he is here.

If you dont know this cat, you should check him out on the web. It would be a great opportunity to study from this heavy while he is in town.

He's played with Francisco Aguabella, John Santos and many other heavies.

We may set up a workshop at la Pena, Ill keep you posted.

If anyone turned down gigs that weekend, please do let me know.

Thank you Brothers!

Tony

Hey Blango please say HELLO to Nengue for me it's been a long time since I've seen him and we go way back to the 80's in L.A. with different bands we played in together. . .He is a "phenominal" bongosero as well as an "all round" percussionist and "nice" guy.....Gracias....Johnny Conga. . . ps he will remember me as "JC"...
