Cuban Style Bottom Rims on LP’s! Palisades Park.

Can someone shed some light on the time period LP added Cuban Style Bottom Rims to their Bongos. I’m under the impression that it’s around late 60’s or early 70’s. Just wondering if any of the experts here might have a better idea.
