OSIRIS Bongo Cowbell!

Postby Juaort » Mon Sep 16, 2019 6:02 pm

Hello Bongoceros!. I’m looking to know more about OSIRIS Cowbells. Any thoughts? How do they compare to JCR and or Pete Lugo, ULISIS Bells? I don’t know much about them so that’s why I’m reaching out. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Juaort

The guys who would know for sure, and are still around, don't seem to be coming here anymore. I can only guess and might be wrong. But, there was a time when JCR and Osiris were doing some things together. And, the legend is that Cali's early bells were fashioned out of appropriated car bumpers. So --------

Thanks Brotha. I heard the same, but was wondering if there was any more info on the brand. I just saw someone post something on one of the FB sites about Osiris. He’s in NYC and still making bells.

I picked up 4 bells from a guy in the Bronx that was looking to cut loose of his collection. Sold the one listed here and looking to sell a Timbal Bell as well.

I've got 2 JCR bells. Great bells! They just don't make bells, or car bumpers, like they used to.
