Hello.
I bought my first Van Van dvd recently. It is great stuff. Changuito's timbale solo and Manuel Navarrera's conga sound. It's worth buying.

Hello Jorge!
I bought it from a Finnish webstore. I don't remember the name. I think the dvd is German production...

Thanks again J!

I'm wondering what format is that DVD? Can you double check for me? I don't want to order something that might not be playable on my DVD player.

gracias,

Cool! There was a VHS called "El Volcán del Caribe" a long time ago. I believe it is available in DVD these days.
Check:

Ciao.
The Los Van Van dvd doesn't have area code. So, it should be ok. Ps I couldn't find any Irakere dvd's. It would have been a perfect birthday present for our bandleader Carlos Del Puerto. I have to come up with something else...

Juzzi,

I just found Irakere's "En Buena Compañia" on DVD, from the Marakka 2000 catalog. This is Irakere in a live concert with some guest artists like, Orquesta Aragón, Silvio Rodríguez, Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, and so on. The tumbador on this concert is Angá.

Hope this helps!

He's been living here in Finland for about a year now. Did you play with him while you were in Cuba? If you did, you're a lucky one. He is THE BASS PLAYER! And he is also one of the most kindest and funniest guys around...
