I just wanted to know, are there any other resources for timbales on the Internet?

I really like this forum but I was also wondering where else timbale players hang out on the Net. I haven't found much. Congas seem to rule. There are lots of resources for them.

If you know of anything please pass it on. Thanks.

Anyone know of a site with pictures of
Vintage Timbales. I'm selling a set of
just restored Brass timbales. There's no logo
remaining on them, but the side brackets have
the look of the older Ludwigs. They seem to
be from around the Leedy to Ludwig transition.
I'd like to narrow it down more. I've had
them restored by Cali Rivera of JCR with new
top rims, one new skin and brand new JCR
stand and bell bracket. I'll post the pictures here
if someone can help identify them.

They may be the Old "slingerland" model made in the late 50's early 60's, which I have a set of. Solid old brass , shells 6 inches deep, and the hardware brackets are not square but rather curved ( ...."JC" Johnny Conga..
