puerto rico and all the percusision family over the world has lost one of the great timbalero ever of the''sonora ponceña'' one of many greats has pass on. he died of a heart attack. we'll miss him profoundly!! he died two days ago. . i used to enjoy to the fullest his timbales solos. he will live for ever with the ''sonora ponceña'' and in our heart!!! my condolences to family and friends.

I have enjoyed his talents on many occassions listening to la Sonora Poncena!

Yes, certainly he will be missed! He tooked on the task of replacing Sonora Ponceña original timbalero Edgardo Morales and holded that position for 29 years. That's a lot of time! "Amarre y afinque" were his trademarks.
