Hey Timbaleros, I just got some JCR timbales and I am very happy! I had been playing some Matador knock offs that were pretty good but cannot compare to these JCR Timbs. My old timbales sounded a little like tin cans at times but these JCR sound really clear and solid. I bought them used but they are in excellent condition. I don't think I will be parting with them, they sound too good. With that in mind, what do I need to do to take care of them to make sure they last a long time. I am thinking that at some point I may not be able to get replacement parts etc. so while these are my regular timbales to play and gig with I want to prolong their life and sound!
