If anyone is interested, I have a set of Leedy brass timbales for sale. They are from the Slingerland era '59-'63. Excellent shape for their age. Here is a link:

I was just going to post this for someone looking for a vintage set but you beat me to it. They look very nice. Nice price too.

Thanks Gallichio, they are an excellent set of timbales. I'm not much of a timbale player myself, but I've owned several sets over the years and nothing has compared to these. Though I hear the ludwig&leedy years sound even better. Beautiful warm tone that you would expect from 60 year old brass.
