Faustino,

Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLjbYQeI1Ac

What kind of timbales is "El Indio" using? El Indio make them sound real good. Them 4 or 5 cats "tienen mucho sabor".

Yes I saw your timbales on ebay last night. I think Papiro Allende played/recorded with Charlie Palmieri too.

PS: Faustino you may know this but I read that Joe Quijano's Mother passed away the other day, just in case you did not know.

Papiro Allende recorded with Mongo on a couple of albums. He is Bobby Allende's uncle. Timbero mayor.

Old school timbero. When I was watching them videos Faustino posted I thought about Mongo when Papiro was lifting la timba to get the bass tones. Well there you go El Indio and Papiro alumni from the Mongo bands.
