Oye that Rogers timbal in the top picture is out of sight. Just by looking at the picture I can tell is something very very special. Do you play your vintage timbales? Lo Que Tienes Es Guayacol Con Unya Raya En Timbalandia!

I think I have seen pictures of Tito Puente from the 50's playing what appeared to be those timbales made by "El Indio". Where was "El Indio" from? Do you now Faustino?

I have a CD home from one of TP's percussion blowout recordings (Top Percussion or Puente In Percussion) of the 50's and the booklet that came with the CD has pictures of the session and shows TP playing what appeared to be "El Indio" timbales and timbalitos. You gotta have some serious hook-ups to have all this vintage timbales.

You the man Faustino. What about Jimmy Sabater's timbales? I am looking at an old picture of Joe Cuba's sextet and it seems to me Jimmy has been playing the same set of timbales for a long time. What are those?
