Here's a blast from the past. My old Timbales case that I purchased in the early '80's. I took some liquid embroidery pens and inked out a paragraph homage type introduction Izzy Sanabria had written on a program distributed when the Late Ralph Mercado scheduled huge latin concerts at Madison Square Garden. I had purchased one while on leave and was attending a concert with the Fania All Stars paying tribute to the late great Tito Rodriguez. The trumpet and sax players were drawn images from souvenir T-shirts I had when I visited Myrtle Beach S.C. back in the day. They made a nice addition to the homage paid by the written word. Today it houses all the stands I have for my timbales, timbalitos and Thunder Timbs and cymbals Peace Jorge
