How to re-attach loose Badge on Timbales

You guys might laugh at me, but I have a very old CP Timbal set (I think 80's). The CP badge is half-un-attached and half-attached. What can I do to re-attach the loose side? --I'm pretty sure some of you are probably going to tell me to rip it off however, I want to keep it; it's a gold or bronze badge. I'm currently in class and don't have any photos to show you guys, but I'll try to post some later on today.
