Elvis: can you please show us a photograph of the timbales mounted on the DW 9600 stand with the LP 912 bracket? Is that the same bracket from the LP Classic Congas?

it seemed that the bracket was too round to fit onto the DW9600 stand properly, and the stand pegs didn't open up far enough.

Maybe if you just posted a photograph to prove your point, you'd have more to go on. Right now, you just sound like an angry manager of a guitar store, Cuco.

Interesting. It didn't look like the bracket from my LP classics would have fit on the 9600, but that may not be the 912 bracket.

Hey Elvis,

If you're not Leedy, you'll need to forgive the other forum members. Over the years I read many, many posts from him - he wrote in your style and made the same types of grammatical errors. I can see why they may mistake you for him. I always thought Leedy had lots of good information to share but that he couldn't hold his temper at times. It's too bad, Leedy2 clearly had a wealth of experience to share and had dedicated a lifetime to the craft.

With all due respect to you, and out of respect for the forum, I'd recommend removing the profanity from your post. I had a different handle before (Cadenza), I don't think it matters much either way. Happy Holidays and may the new year bring you good tidings.

Again, you haven't shown me the drums mounted on a DW9600 in your photo. You've shown me brackets on a drum; so, show us pics, and I'll acknowledge it.
