The video to the amateur theater piece I accompanied a while back.
I was completely unrehearsed, and they only told me the basic
subject of the skit. A little rough, I basically improvised the whole thing. It was a lot of fun.

San Francisco has an event called Sunday Streets where they close streets to cars in changing neighborhoods on Sunday.
Last year when it happened in the Mission we had a rumba in front of our main rumba spot.

Having just returned from a trip to ice-cold England,
watching that vid warmed me up :D

Yes I'm there, I played there all day. We had a big circle watching us when our dancer Jesse was dancing.
I reckon at least 10,000 people passed us that day?
You can just see me in the first clip, I'm the last conga player with the sunglasses. Taikonoatama is standing playing claves in that segment too.
The singer with the shekere later on is Galo. His daughter was having her birthday that day behind us at the cafe.

Yeah that's the one man, I think you can be seen in one of the segments, just from the back though, wearing a white linen shirt?
