Hello Congaplace! I've just started posting here, after being a "lurker" for quite a while.. By way of introduction I thought I'd post a few shots of some gigs I've done over the last year or so, to give you an idea of what I get up to and the scene here in Bristol, U.K. Here Goes...

This was the (now sadly defunkt) Orquesta Montpelier, named after a district of Bristol.. I was Bongocero. We played classic salsa, Fania style, but also experimented with adding flavours of Hip Hop and Reggeaton, and Batá.. Shots are from Ashton Court Festival, Bristol and Glastonbury festival Jazz World Stage 2008

This is an R&B/Grime project I was in called "Type and JB" I played Multi Percussion and triggered samples..Was fun! Also sadly defunct..

Hey there bro . welcome aboard . I recognise JH on quinto and the Cuban damcer sorry forgot his name . they did a Candobmle workshop up here in manchester last summer . shame about your salsa band .

Cheers Marco, Yeah that's jon - he's in Salvador studying right now.. Alain is the dancer - I remember them telling me about that event, it sounded really nice..
