*Vintage Gon Bop Quinto*

Postby Jaisen Torres » Tue Apr 30, 2013 4:21 am

Early 70s Gon Bop Oak Requinto with freshly mounted mule hide.
This drum is a straight up monster , a beast... Super high & dry .
I completely refurbished this bad boy , top to bottom.
I had the hardware completely redone , I gave it a beautiful design with the perfect stain & finish.
Mounted a fresh mule hide , & also put a nice handle on it.
This drum is built like a tank & a sounds super nasty ...
Im looking for the best cash offer...

That Requinto looks super nice. There was a post on this forum about earlier drums like this being made of thin wood, but I know for a fact that the wood on this drum of yours is about 1" thick. It is built like a tank. Gon Bops 70's quality 100%. If you get a chance take a measurement on those staves ok? You would have to drop this drum off a roof to damage it.
