Moperc Bingba - Now On eBay - SOLD

Postby Congadin » Sat Feb 08, 2014 7:51 pm

Virtually new, barely played, never gigged Moperc Bingba for sale.
This is a compact unique drum that is a cross between a conga and a djembe.
This one is ash, with mahogany finish.

Does this instrument sound like a Brazilian Timbau?

Hi, pcastag - I'm in Toronto Canada. I'm sure I could find economical options for shipping to Texas. This is smaller and lighter than a conga.

@congamyk: From Moperc's website:

"A faithful companion in drumming circles, this small drum blends the djembe's deep bass with the rich, well-rounded tones of the congas.

The Bingbas was entirely conceived by Moperc. This small portable drum, with its thin cowhide skin, produces a bass which is agreeably close to the djembe's and a tonality comparable to that produced by congas.

Elegant and light, it lends itself easily to many music styles and is a favoured instrument for drumming circles. Built by the same methods and with the same high quality materials, the Bingbas faithfully conforms to the exacting standards that Moperc sets for all its drums."
