...I will not say whether I am Taoist: I believe that if you proclaim you are Taoist, you are not.

Examine your need to make these proclamations. :;):

I put sound boards under my congas in my church gig because I play on a carpeted stage and man what a difference ! :0
I was like WOW !
The tones carry longer and deaper and fuller just like as if I were playing with them
on a stand.
dont think I will even persuit conga feet or anything to raise them now.
The sound and fullness Im looking for is there with the boards.

Whatever. You decide how that will look, and if it serves any purpose. I for one am already tired of the "conga snobbery" here. If it's an anti-Christian board too, who needs it.

This thread is being closed, not due to anti christian discussion or anti religion discussion, but due to the sensitivity of everyones beliefs and faith.
It is a topic which despite its best wishes will always create friction and disrespect amongst our members as there is always conflict of belief and faith. Something we do not need on this forum.

Our drumming unites us, not our religions.

Here's a helpful hint to remember...

YOU ARE HERE CONGAplace.com :;): Lets keep it related.

religion forum -----------------> that way.

So in order to keep the peace and the greater good of everyone, this thread is being locked down in the best interest of all.
