Hey brother,

a quick use of the search function found this:

Been covered a few times in discussion, in Anga's video ANGAMANIA he also shows an example of Changuito's 'Mano Secreta'.

Saludos.

Welcome ATALAKIMBAMBA!

I bet there's a nice echo in that place you play in the picture!

Do you know of an Argentinian Latin/Jazz composer/musician named Yehuda (Julio) Glantz? He lives in Israel but took me on performance tour to Buenos Aires and Montevideo in 1997. That was the only time I saw those places. What a city Buenos Aires is! They drive there just like they do in Israel, so I felt right at home. We stayed at the Alvear Palace, a magnificent hotel I'll not forget. The water taps on the sinks and tubs looked and felt like real gold... could they be?
We did a radio spot and a couple of shows there in a big theater (but I forget its name now), and Glantz seemed to have a big following there at the time.

Anyway, it was beautiful and I hope to visit again some day.

Hope you are enjoying studying the mano secreta. I think the double stroke roll has a lot to do with it.

All the best,

Yonatan

Hello Yoni...
...Hope you´re good. The place in the photo is my borough (Palermo) subway stop station tunnel. I use to jam myself with a conga and a cajon I made in the middle of a traffic tunnel, the train, wich passes a lot!!! and the subway, so it´s a nice place for people to see ya. I love playin´ in the streets, watching people in everyday life matters and get shocked by primitive beats of my drum...it´s inspiring, or dogs passing by, children, I love to interact with people think that´s drumming after all...

The picture is from material I´m making for my own web site, and wanted to capture images from home, playin´some grooves in the street, and that funky tunnel in the sub...

I´m glad you like B.A., it´s a wonderful city wich has a lot to offer, come visit anytime you can...
I dont´know that musician, congrats on making the tour!
As for the tips, thanks again
