Hi guys!
I'll be playing drums for a friend whose music needs some drum loops to be activated during the performances. I'm thinking geting a drum machine, but I have a question.
Most DM have footsitches jacks for unlatching-footswitch use. Can I substitute the footswitch for a drum pad trigger? It makes a lot more sense to me to simply hit a pad than taking my foor off the hihat to stomp the switch, don't you think? Both systems uses 1/4" instrument (mono) cables for output, so it isn't a big change. Is it possible?
