New Orleans Congueros Rumba? - Anyone from New Orleans?

Is there anyone here from New Orleans that plays congas? Is there a local Rumba or jam session? Please let me know. I'm new to the area and looking to meet other congueros from NOLA area. Please feel free to mention rumba info here and/or email me, thanks.

Im from new orleans, but now I live in san antonio because of the storm. U might want to try the area of the french quarter around esplanade and decatur. They have clubs called cafe brazil and the praline connection. That area has a lot of people that play the music that requires congas. Just go and listen to music and conversate, you will meet the right people.
