Moving Su***

Postby Tonio » Wed Mar 24, 2010 3:07 am

Man does moving suck the big one !!

Finally had a chance to play some of my babies

Between all the moving stuff and retrieving stuff from a storage space setting up the new house etc etc., my main love gets thrown to the back burner.

BUT, no anymore !! I'm back !!

Hows my bros been?

All the expenses has put a damper on getting new exciting new drums to say the least :x

Hey man, been wondering where you've been.
Moving is one of the most stressful things a person can go through.
Glad your life is getting back to normal.

Tell me about it 8) Especially when you realize how much CRAP you have collected over the years.

I was at the previous place for 18 years, so you can imagine how much stuff I had. No to mention all the percussion stuff, audio, normal garage stuff-tools, hardware, gardening tools, all the stuff in the attic.

I wil say that I am glad I kept all the boxes of high value items I have purchased over the years.

What I also realized that I need more or better congas cases/bags. When I rented a u haul truck, all the daily stuff /f urniture was moved, but not my prized drums and audio equipment. I moved them seperately in my pick up truck to be sure they did not get damaged. My truck only fits about 4 drums since I have a hard toneau cover, so there were quite a few trips. It was just across town , so it wasn't that bad.
