Replacement heads for LP Aspire

Postby wetwonder » Sat Oct 16, 2010 1:26 pm

///////Hi,

I bought a used set of LP Aspire, conga and tumba, made in 2002. They have Aspire heads (LP Aspire printed on the top side center). I don't know if these are original, but my guess is that they are.

Can someone recommend upgrade heads? I am a learning beginner, and realize the Aspires are a learning set, yet I'm serious about improving skills and equipment when the chance arises. So any specific info on heads, types, makes, where to buy, or just webpages that goes over heads in the context of the Aspires - would be very great.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi and welcome

My advice is to use "real" natural skins as much as possible.

Try to find a supplier and mount it yourself. The quality is very often much better than the products you'll find in shops.
