Skin suppliers

I recently changed a couple of skins off LP bata and am thoroughly unimpressed with the results. The chacha side has lost nearly all dynamics and I’m guessing it’s because the skin is too thick (it was a 1mm skin from Manito and it was the thinnest they have in stock).

Are there any other suppliers that are offering decent skins that you’ve tried on bata? Hopefully I’ll be able to get some skins from A builder in Cuba sometime this year, but I need something now for a short-term fix.

Thanks.

I’ve gotten skins from furandhide.com. They produce the skins them selves. You just have to tell them what thickness you’re looking for. They have a pretty decent line up if skins. Cow, Buffalo, Horse, Deer, Elk etc. I’ve only gotten skins from them for my Bingos and I’ve been very happy with their quality and prices.
