Yeah, JC, he plays real nice quinto. It may be a little hard for some to follow with only the cata and no other drums, here is another clip of Angel Gonzalez playing quinto on a slow yambu with Roman Diaz and Antonio Martinez (Pedrito's brother) with El Negro and Lazaro Rizo singing. Chavalonga is singing too, I don't know the other guys.
The clean sound they get from the drums playing so soft is impressive. Learn from the masters, even if it is on YouTube and not in La Habana.

Does anyone know of any old footage of Armando ? I'm sure I remember some great segments of him with George Shearing on Youtube but can't find anything now. He's the true root of inspiration for me, I discovered his bongo recordings initially through Matt Dubuques group and then added congas after listening to him !
