I have ever played on, and thats for real...lord knows I've had my share of drums and played on all kinds from around the world..these ARE "one of a kind" Conga drums...oh yea there are "no" glue seams to be seen either he uses a resin instead with a special way of joining the slats ...he also uses "acrylic" instead of polyurethane..which is what is used on cars...So it will not chip peel or turn yellow, like polyurethane so the "look" will remain for the life of the drums and they can actually be "buffed" as well, just like u would buff your car...the hardware is REMO hardware with REMO permission, chrome plated stainless steel...also rubber around the bottem of the drums...I am proud to have my name associated with VOLCANO PERCUSSION and Mr. Tom Alexander
