WHEN ARE YOUR INSTRUMENTS GOOD ENOUGH ?

I found that just owning decent drums made feel like I wanted to be worthy of owning them and I upped both my practice time and overall seriousness. That was about 2 years ago and the love affair and practice/commitment has not abated one bit.

So for me they are assuredly "good enough".

My feelings to the T. Any instrument I get, I want to feel like it deserves to be played with more skill then I have (that makes the instrument good enough to purchase), and that strengthens my commitment to study and improve.
