Great job for Bamboche! You guys are keeping the flame burning up in the wet North West!
I know that what I'm about to say is going to sound incredibly harsh and inconsiderate, but please find it in your heart to forgive me.

I've seen a few of your videos, and you guys do quite well, however......I can't help but get creeped out by "tall guy." He doesn't appear to be from the 3rd Rock, but none the less, he is owning that clave, as well as singing his heart out, or whatever he has.......

Are you guys Humboldt regulars, or have you all traveled to Cuba to learn what you know? You guys work well together Dave.

Again, I'm a fan, not a..well, I understand if you get offended and don't talk to me anymore, wait a minute.....we don't talk as it is....either way, I like your videos!

Hehe,, I know it's a little wierd.. We're a collection of some white guy nerdy types.. Yeah it probably is a bit creepy.. All the more incredible if we don't suck..
Only two of us venture to Humboldt, me and the guy with the long hair.
A few have gone to Cuba. But, every one of us is studying the music like our lives depend on it. That becomes our common thread. The tall "creepy" guy,, that's our main teacher. He's a crazy genius from planet xenon somewhere in the outer reaches of our galaxy.

Thanks Onile, Mark, and Elrayo.. Not sure if I'll repost that Guaguanco with the ending or not. I couldn't believe I had chopped it off without knowing it.. I'm sort of proud of it because we do a two clave Muñequitos ending without hitting the one at the end. So, it sort of drifts off into space before the final downbeat. oh well..

I really appreciate the fact that you guys are keeping the flame burning like you are and sharing it with the children of your community. I noticed that you all do quite a bit of performances for the schools. That says a lot of where your hearts are! That's totally Sweet! You guys DO sound tight together!

Yeah, very nice guaguanco by the younger generation of rumberos from Matanzas, with padrino Jesus (ibae) watching over them. Great conversations going on between Luisito on seis por ocho (tres dos) and the guy on tumbador. Nice quinto too, and the cata is solid. Thanks, Jorge.
