Wow..PC, loved all three cuts, especially the first one. Very tasty playing on your part and the vibes player was excellent. I love vibes and you just don't run across many players these days...at least I don't. Tell us about the conga player, he sounded good as well. Do you play with this group regularly? Last...what ride cymbal are you using? It had a nice amount of wash without being overpowering. Got any more like the first?

Thanks Steve! The ride is an istanbul mehmet 22" legend ride. It's a bad ass! I ordered it directly from turkey and am super super happy with the product. Old school real hand hammered turkish hot sweaty oven fired cymbal. When you watch teh video Here's another one

Thanks for the positive coments folks! Even though I'm a day gigger ( started teaching HS about 15 years ago when I had kids) I still feel blessed to be able to get out and play great music almost every weekend. I'm at the point now where i don't have to say yes ( financially) to every gig that comes my way so i get to do some very cool gigs , of course it really sucks getting up at 6:00 AM five days a week, but hey, thems the breaks!

Yeah man, that's the shizzle fo sure! Frankie looks like some street dude but man the guy can SING! I saw him here with Jimmy Bosch with Jimmy Delgado on timbales, just an incredibel band. LOVE IT Old school all the way baby!

All around a great orchestra. Frankie has lots of "malicia (street wise)" one of my favorite soneros.
There are not many orchestras left than can play the Mambo Legends repertoire. Is not an stretch
to call them Mambo Kings!
