Thanks,, yep definitely Folkloric gear, except maybe for the gajate block, and Fat Conga cajons.
I don't know why I'm so drawn to the Folkloric music, but somehow it really gets to me! There's something in that music that calls to soul.

Nice setup deadhead. Those classics have a great color.

I added this to my setup 2 weeks ago and I love it.

Thnx congamyk, I love the color as well. I've been considering one of those handsonics. I played on one at a guitarcenter where I live and it had some cool sounds. How are you liking it? I don't know much about electronics, is it upgradeable at all with more sounds?

I'm totally digging the handsonic. It has every percussion sound that I can think of. All with the stand in a backpack. Makes auditions and acoustic settings a breeze.

This new model has an amazing cajon sound and much better sounds than the old one. It also has a better drum machine to practice with. This won't replace congas, but it has tabla, chimes, bells, pandeiro, tamborine, udu, timbales, surdo, steel drums, xylophone, and every other auxillary percussion you will ever need INCLUDING FULL DRUM KITS that you can play with 2 hands.

I love this thing.

Hi allThis is my setup. I love my Remo's Tuff e Nuff Poncho Sanches signature series.
I dont show them in my pics but I use CARVIN D42 mics with LP Claws on all of my Drumms . My Percussion table is custom made by me, believe it or not it's actually a desk drawer with a custom Gebraltar double conga stand, it works great. :D

King Conga, I'm horrible with html, but this website is easy. Just hit the image button above the text box when your making a post and put the image link in the box. You might have to host the picture through another website if you have a webpage, or I used my myspace page.

Also play with local "Batucada do Norte" - surdo

the drum look like MEINL. the rim is the traditional series which would mean they are the Luis conte series, but I don't recognise the logo.

Pidoca,

I believe Oz was inquiring about Windhorse Sol tumbadoras.
