Hey, I also LOVED Mandrill! Had their album called Mandrill, was lost years ago, must find that music again. Used to jam along with that album... nice to be reminded of it!

Mandrill are killers!!! The old school still rules the funk. Great blend of styles, but it still comes out as the funk. I got to see them live in 2001 in NYC. Great, great show. The DVD is off the hook. Stuff like this keeps me going.

Yeah I only got switched onto it recently after hearing an Osunlade DJ set.. I'm really feeling the vibe of "Cinco anos despues" Reminds me of the early "Nervous" releases with added soul and sophistication... Positive music with a message..
