I just wanted to express my appreciation to whomever is behind the administration of this forum, as well as to the knowledgeable regulars who have shared their expertise here over the years. The forum is not very active nowadays, but the archive is a goldmine of information about percussion. There's nothing else like it on the Web that I'm aware of.

Because it is irreplaceable, I hope congaplace.com will remain online for a long time to come. In fact, I'd be happy to make a donation to give something back for all I've received if someone would share details on how to do so.

Welcome The_Faniatic. I wholly agree. There is such a wealth of knowledge and information here it can literally take years to wade through. I'm pretty certain nearly any question you may have has been discussed here at some point. Enjoy!
