Besides the fact I've been in love with Sheila E since she came out with "The Glamorous Life", I had no idea that she comes from a family of percussionists until recently. (Hey, I'm a newbie OK :D ).

Anyway, I picked up her father's album, Mr. E, on ebay last year, and while I was not overly impressed with the album, Sheila E does a killer guaguanco on the last song of the album. People can say what they want to about her playing, but I can only hope that one day I develop a "voice" on the congas that she is singing on that song. I think the title is "Dawning of the New Day" or something like that. I'm not at home, so I can't go and check the CD.

Anyway, just my $.02. One Love

Would you guys stop judging female musicians by their looks, please? Nobody refers to the looks of men while discussing their abilty to play.
