Nice one James and MCO,
were just working on new material for our bateria [including guaganco using surdos, repinique, snare and timbau]. Ill post the arrangements on when weve got them nailed. Of course, the calls, breaks,
visual cues, dynamics, improvisations and choreography will be our own, but I think thats what Z meant by the 9th grade. As for the grooves- use them as you will!!
Catch you soon
Peace and love Stu

Not yet, but theres a summer tour booked so Ideally we should have a cd ready for then which I can pass on. Its quite a project as weve also got a seven piece brass section and a youth orchestra [about 100 young singers, dancers and drummers] who will join us for a few performances. Our costume designer has got a right headache [ although its nothing compared to the likes of Tocar Rufa or Meninos du Morumbi].
You can check out stuff by some of our band members by looking up Inner Sense, but I dont know if anything was released stateside. They're certainly on a Snowboy compilation which you should be able to get, if I can remember the name of the album!
