I am new here. I'd like to know who you guys respect and like the best in your "favourite rhythm section". Bass, piano, congas, bongos, paila, drums....etc.

here are my choices:

Piano-Eddie Palmieri or Gonzalo Rubalcaba
Congas-yours truly or Giovanni
Timbales-Tito de Gracias
Bongos-Anthony Carrillo
Drums-El Negro

Piano Ruben Gonzalez
Congas Ritchie Flores or Francisco Aguabella
Bongos Jose Mangual jr
Drums El negro
The choice for the conga player is hard because there are many congasmen who play very good.
