Chacho! Esta vez si lo hice! These are my Fat Congas! They sound great, nice smooth deep sounding bass! Great with Salsa bands!

Onile,

Gracias!!!!! I have owned them since 1996. They were made from Caribbean Mahogany (Caoba) by Natalio "Junior" Tirado out of New York City. Unfortunately, "Junior" have been in a state of coma for couple of years now. Ocassionally you see some of his drums show up on E-bay for auction, the last ones sold for about $1,600.00, two drums only.

Saludos,

Jorge Ginorio

Tamboricua,

Oh, by the way.....is that your baby girl on the "Rhythmweb site?"
If so, she is adorable! I have a six year old daughter who I'm teaching bongos to, she's picked up the martillo pattern so far. I taught her the "mommy/papi" technique a couple of years ago, it's so much fun to see them evolve!

La bendicion mi hermano!

Indeed, "Junior" situation is very sad!

Yeah, that's my little girl on the Rhythmweb site. She is 4 already. I also have a two year old son, check out attached picture. True blessings from above!

Jorge Ginorio

Maferefun Olodumare!
You are definitely blessed mi hermano! Que familia!
I actually have two adult children, 29 and 27 year olds, and Papa Dios provided me with a blessing six years ago, por esa razon la nombramos "Destiny!"

Hopefully by then, they'll turn around and by us a house on the island for retirement!

Suave!
