Here are a couple of pics from a small gig I had with a folkloric trio... At the last minute we called ourselves... ChiCoPa... Funny way saying we represent Panama, Columbia and Chile... I wanted to add Brazil in there, but what the hey...

Diego Coy (Zamponia,Kena,Vocals) Alfredo Chavez (guitar, lead vocals) and myself on percussion. For this set up as you can see I use congas, cajon, bombo, bongo, chakras, and other various percussion. This was a laid back gig for a local Salvadorian Bakery celebrating their anniversary. This bakery has been around for years in a section of seattle where there are a lot of Latinos in the community. These folks have done a lot for their community and i was happy celebrate their anniversary with them. Enjoy!

Oh, ryhthms we played were: Pasillo, Bambuco, Waltz, Joropo, Zamba (de Argentina), cueca, son, cumbia (traditional Columbian style) and many more...

:D I know brother, I know... It's fun finaly getting the zhit!

Diceman, thanks for checking 'em out and replying!

Pablo, yup... JC's got it on the money! It's good to have these for a variety of reasons... Gigs where the stage is on carpet; or slippery floors like the ones in this gig... Tile floors don't have much grip. They also work as good head protectors...

Thanks for checking the pics out ya'll!

Alafia Abure Ivan!
I hope that you are well and in an abundance of blessings my brother!

Wow! That looks like such a comfortable venue! I've worked in a Peruvian Restaurant before (entertainment that is), and the folks totally enjoy "live" music. Your trio looks really cool there!

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Many blessings!

Onile!

Yup, I must learn to get some pics and sound clips on the forum. So much to do, so little time.
Sorry Ivan, but I am going to hijack your thread for just one post to wish our brother from a downunder mother, Abacua, a Happy Birthday, the big three oh.
I hope you celebrate it getting 'skin on skin' IYKWIM
