Guitar Center had a clearance sale. I got LP Classic Natural Wood conga for $189 and the Tumba for $199. They are having a clearance sale on these models. Check stores in your area. These are $380-$410 drums at less than half.

that's awesome! if you keep chk'n out the drums that aren't moving you can land a good deal. they usually don't advertise the deep discounted stuff, you have to ask. i got my LP Matador quinto for $99 there. recently i got a fat conga stringed cajon for $100 (brand new in the box!) after trading in my alex acuna (crummy...no offense alex..) cajon. sweet...btw, didn't get a answer about the mics on your recording...
