Sorry if this has already been brought up.

I'm learning the slow rumba "Yambu" does anyone have all of the words written?

It goes.... " yambu yambu yambu... cabarello"...

I'm having a hard time pronouncing correctly without a teacher. Any help is much appreciated.

Hey Congamyk,
I think the lyrics go something like this:

Uh
Uh
Ooh
Woah

Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah
Ooh
Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah

I think I did it again
I made you believe
We're more than just friends
Oh baby
It might seem like a crush
But it doesn't mean
That I'm serious
'Cause to lose all my senses
That it just so typically me
Oh baby baby

[Chorus]
Oops, I did it again
I played with your heart
Got lost in the game
Oh baby baby
Oops, you think I'm in love
That I'm sent from above
I'm not that innocent

But I might be wrong?

lol,

Berimbau! Good one! :D

Here's two that we do on Yambu:
Keep in mind that these start on the 3, not the 1.

(Pa’ Los Mayores - The syllable "Trai" is on the 3)
Yo Traigo pa los Mayores de Pueblo Nuevo (x2)
Yo Traigo los Angelitos Vestio de Oro
Las Flores Mas Elegantes de mi Cantero

Que Buena Son
Que Buena Son
Que Buena Son

Las Mananas de San Juan
Que Buena Son
Que Buena Son
Que Buena Son

Yo Me Muero Sona Ba
Yo Me Muero Son Ba

No Llegua la Media Noche

(El Tahonero)
Chevere, que chevere, que chevere
Chevere, que chevere, que chevere
Chevere, que chevere, que chevere
Chevere, que chevere, que chevere

Mi China Vole Sanson
Tu tienes vento (x2)

Yo Soy Tahonero
Me llevan los elementos (x2)

Guere biton, biton, biton
Guere biton, yeye mama

Guere biton, biton, biton
Guere biton, yeye mama

Thanks windhorse, but I must have mentioned the wrong song title.
I'm thinking of the song that goes .... "yambu yambu yambu... cabarello"..

Does anyone have the lyrics for that?

Got 'em right here:

Oh baby baby
How was I supposed to know
That something wasn't right here

oh baby baby
I shouldn't have let you go
And now you're out of sight, yeah

Show me how you want it to be
Tell me baby cause I need to know now

Because...
My lonliness is killing me
And I, I must confess I still believe
When I'm not with you I lose my mind
Give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

Unfortunately, there is no vacunao in Yambu!!!

All The Best,

Everybody likes a joke, but nobody likes an idiot that's too stupid to know when to quite. Leave this thread alone.

Congamik,

Look inside this pdf. It's not cabarello, but caballero.

Hi Olson, I think he may know it. I haven't been able to get him to write it down, not sure why.

The song I need is on the DVD "Just another Day In The Park" and sung by Rekow and Perrazza. The title is simply "Yambu" and they may sing several different rumbas under this heading.
