New guy around here! Can't believe I haven't found this place until now?!

Been playing percussion for 23 years now - all kinds of music. Right now my main band is a jazz group playing 50s and 60s latin jazz with drums, guitar, hammond/piano and perc. - fantastic music!

I'm playing PJ congas and bongos (Danish hand build brand http://www.pjpercussion.dk/ ) and LP Tito P brass timbales.

Looking forward to hanging with you guys - have already spend way to much time around here on my first day!!

Good to have you aboard. This is a great place filled with lots of great information and great people. I'm sure you'll find many things of interest on this site. Also, judging by your experience, I'm sure you have many things to share as well.

I studied some basic conga with Freddie Moreno.
I also played with Heny Alvarez in a Charanga band.
