Tommy, speaks more on one drum than most speak on three, his tone, and discipline is something to watch for any conguero, too bad he stopped playing, i think i read somewhere that he stopped and started working as a truck driver....i think it was Willie E, that said, "whenever I see a young conguero going a mile a minute on a drum, I whisper in his ear"...."Tommy Lopez"

Niiice vid!! And good to see that the man has still got the chops- no machine-gunning, just tasty, musical playing...I've been a fan of his ever since I heard his work with Palmieri, and how about the Machito/ Lalo album, Fireworks, que clase de afinque.. Gotta hand it to you, Jorge, you're a great resource for this forum, and practically find anything on the web..have u ever considered finding Bin Laden, heard there's a pretty good $$$ reward out for him .
