the first page that you hit when you go to www.congaplace.com is the option to view the page in Italiana or English. Being that this is the case, I assume that the creator of this site is from Italy?

Anyway, I probably should have posted this earlier, but My wife and I are heading to Florence, Italy tomorrow and was wondering...hmmmm... I wonder if there is anything percussive that I should see or visit while over there? Shows? Clubs? Clinics? Being that Italy has no shortage on leather products, "this might be a long shot", but is there anywhere that I can purchase flat skins for my drums while there? We will be venturing out of Florence and checking out other citys, and this question is not specific to one city alone..

MD

Wow!!... I had no idea that there was a totally separate forum in Italian. Totally different population of members on that forum but talk about the same problems and woes as what is talked about on this forum? Two separate knowledge bases on the same subject floating together in space on parallel dimensions.. seperate planes if you will.. hmmm Kinda like if there were another earth in a galaxy far far away with people who looked just like us and lived basically the same lives as we do.. The more that I learn, the more I realize I don't know.

btw,
Hey Conga Man, I sent you a pm.

JMDRISCOLL,
yes, there are members from Italy; I live in Sardinia, very far from Florence! If you come in my Island i'll be happy to meey you.
For the flat skin, i think it's very difficult to find it in Italy; I buy some cuban skins when somebody take from Cuba.
Ciao
