As a kid also separated from birth parents, I feel for you and your son.


Just returned from NYC, where I spent 5 days, watching my step-mother pass, then her funeral. I was lucky to be there. Since she raised me from age 2, I knew her as "Mom".
First time I felt a NY winter in some 15 years. How one can take that cold, I don't know.

There's a 1 minute clip there called "Latinterlude", with Amin on oud, David Adda on keyboard, and me on a small, dinky-sounding darbuka. Oh well.
Interesting though, 'cause for me it's the first time I hear oud and darbuka used in Latin. Hope you all enjoy!

I'm a computer - dummy, and have no website, so I listed my congaplace web page as my "band web-site", and the other clip on my profile also appears on congaplace... if this means I did something wrong or "unethical", please let me know, I'm new to all this. Any other advice also appreciated. I plan to add new sound clips there soon.

Hi All,

I have received requests on "myspace" for people wanting to be my "friends" there, and have mostly agreed to those requests...

Now let's say I want to do the same and request to be friends on someone else's "myspace" url.

Can anyone tell me how I do that? Does it happen automatically in reverse when I accept a friend onto my "myspace"?

I'm not too up on computers and can't figure this one out.

Any help most appreciated!

Yes, once you accept a friend they are in your friends list.

If you want to add a friend click on the "ADD to Friends" link when you are looking at thier page.
The "ADD to Friends" link is in a box usually underneath thier main photo.

Hi Guys, gonna have to run,, but I'll be back to connect with everyone on the space to "be a friend" though I figure we're all friends here by default anyway.

The beta version of the Control Panel is under testing by our friends of the italian forum ... if You want to try go to MyCongaPlace Log-In and sign-up... at the moment we do not have an english version... just italian but the english language pack is under construction...

Sure, all of you are good drummers, and I'm glad to be on this forum, betwin such a cool guys. I'm trying to make myspace to, and I guess I already got it Myspace but you can only see my smily face on it, and just few words about me. I'm trying to work with it, but I can't add any text there (temporary, I hope), it's not a problem. My English is not so good, as I can see, and I need some tips...
Can anyone help me with loading my MP3's on myspace? I couldn't find how. Do some of you have some specialists to make such a great design of your spaces, or all by yourselfs?
Thanks for any advice, I learn fast!
