Gonna be in boston over the next month .Anyone on here from the boston area ? or can anyone direct me to some percussion related activity or any other good stuff to see and do

Depending on what your into, I believe Nolan Warden is in boston, he may have some insight as to what going on up there...he has a website online i believe its nolanwarden.com, but i could be wrong..check w/ him he knows the scene pretty well at least bata and rumba...

Niall, you could go to Berklee School of Music and check the bulletin board at the student union. Also, there has to be some good music stores there. I bought some Gon Bops there back in '75 at Sam Ash. Also, check the phone book for a cat named Les Lumley. He's older than I am so, good luck there! There's also a trumpet player named Stanton Davis (and Ghetto Mysticism). Check the listings of local clubs. Boston is a happenin' music town! Good luck. Buck
