Can anyone recommend some Christmass music with some good conga action? Or bongos or something.

Thanks.

Try perhaps the most famous and the standards of Christmas albums in the salsa genre:

Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe's, ASALTO NAVIDENO and ASALTON NAVIDENO 2. (Two different albums, circa 72 and 74). Fania Record.

Saludos!

Just chanced upon a Christmas album by a guy who does a lot of flamenco/spanish guitar. I have his "Gypsy Flame" album, it's pretty good with some rumba-flamenca on it. But I have no idea whatsoever what his Christmas album sounds like. Here's a link (look for last album on page):

there is also a album called "Mas a Caribbean Christmas" that it full of island christmas songs. from Reggae to Soca to cadence to a salsa from El Gran Combo...Its pretty good. not a ton of drumming on it though.
