Hi, thought I'd step out on a limb and discuss this to see if there is any interest.
I'm looking for a camera or camcorder to start recording for the web.
I see a lot of poor quality conga videos because of a bad microphone or slow video quality.
I also see a lot of really good conga videos with good sound quality.
If you have a camera or camcorder please let us know what works for you and what has failed.
Also, please include any techniques and/or advice you can pass along.

I have been a Canon man for years.

When my latest Canon compact got stolen, someone turned me onto the Panasonic Lumix ZS3.

There cheaper ones but this is the best $350 I have spent, pixel sharp HD videos and stereo microphones with a good and clear balanced sound. Took me a while to get one as soon as they arrived in Fry's they were gone within an hour.
In the end I had to order direct from Panasonic.

Try to find a camera that you could adjust the audio levels when you record. I bet most people don't even take the time to read the instructions beofre using them. DO NOT OVERMODULATE. If it's in the red, you are ovrmodulating. Occassional peaks in the red are OK, but keep an eye on these audio meters.
As far as Video is concerned, the sky is the limit, but you don't need top of the line for the web and still have a proffessional looking site.
