Yeah, I have a conga and quinto, they were about $530 total, purchased new separately.
Great hardware, decent skin, standard rubberwood, nice finish.
Thumbs up.

Between me and my youngest son, we have 5 - two tumbas, two congas and a quinto. I re-skinned them all; three with thick cow (mine) and two with mule (his). All are wonderful. You can't go wrong.

Niall....

I really am enjoying mine. These are from the recently deceased DW Gon-Bop

production era. I swapped out the synthetic heads for hide and am happy. Siam

Oak...nice fit and finish .. I believe I gave USD 750.00 shipped for mine. No regrets.

I believe my "custom" color is listed as Metallic Tobacco Fade. For the majority here...

they would be considered an "intermediate" level set. Nice warm tone, good projection,

melodic intervals, musical slap.

Good luck.

Niall...I am not a conguero.... and frankly, am just starting out on my conga journey...here

is a couple of minutes of untreated recording thru the Zoom H4n ...directly to a card and transfered

to the computer (just learning this also). I think a representative sample of "real tone" ....please

excuse the lack of technique. I favor melodic tunings and technique.

oops ! sorry , the website will not allow WMA extensions.

Peace, Chas

Thanks for your reply chas .Think i will go and have a look at them anyway . Just looking for some more congas to add to the collection for teaching etc .They look like decent drums tbh and could be used for gigging no probs id imagine . € 300 is just to cheap to turn down . I need to see a doctor for my conga addiction . More stuff i have to hide from the Mrs
