forum behavior

Postby vinnieL » Wed May 08, 2013 11:50 pm

Ive been on this forum for a number of years and there has only been an occasional outburst here and there but things never got horrible. We are all here for the same thing. I will be acting aggressively from here on out. When notified of unacceptable behavior or I see it myself I will act decisively and aggressively I will not tolerate behavior like what has been going on in the bongo section so please lets keep it civil and friendly. If we are to promote our love of percussion and continue to be inviting to new members and pros out there we need to act accordingly.

I love this forum it's like a home for me so I don't like it when people are rude to each other.personal insults and attacks are not part of learning and sharing which is what I love about being here so you have total support to eradicate this behavior. The support I feel in whatever I have posted is overwhelming, There is nowhere else on the INTERNET that we can be a community so lets respect that,.. it's special.

Hey all, agreed with vinnie.
Ive been in the studio doing some crazy hours recording a new Afro Cuban Jazz/fusion & Timba CD and have missed alot of the goings on in the last few days, so my apologies for not acting on things which popped up, good to see JC and vinnie were on the ball in my absence.

I agree 100% with what VinnieL said too!

There have been highly unnecessary provocations and false allegations
in the bongó section...
And it was definitely wise to delete a few posts there,
I guess Johnny Conga saw to that by pushing a few moderator buttons.

Thank goodness everything else has been going on in a civil, peaceful, and above all
highly constructive manner here - as is the case most of the time,
which is why keep coming to this site so often. 8) :D 8) :D
Peace & drum
