Buying new heads

I tucked new LP heads on my drums about 10yrs ago. Never been quite satisfied with the tone. My Valjes originally came with Cowhide when I bought them new in 77. I'm thinking I'd maybe like to tuck new Cowhide on all the drums... 4 congas and Bongos.
I've heard good comments about Mule too. But... I'm leaning more towards the Cowhide at this time.
First... where can I buy Cowhide flats?
Second... comments any type of flats and where to buy them would be appreciated.
